CORROSION ISOLATOR
Over a decade ago, Noble Plastics was approached to create a solution to mitigate crevice corrosion. Other solutions had previously existed including half rounds made of wood, but nothing was available with the performance needed to last. ISO-GUARD was created. It is a non-metallic pad for placement between equipment and its support, for example between a pipe and a beam supporting the pipe. The pad features male and female dovetails on either end to permit connecting multiple pads together. It has a convex top which eliminates standing fluids and prevents corrosion of pipe and supporting systems. It also features a flat bottom for easy adhesion to the substrate. ISO-GUARD is injection molded from high strength fiber reinforced polymer (FRP). It features superior load bearing capacity, low temperature toughness, excellent chemical resistance, and it is UV stable. Select the technical tab for more details.
